There is something about charms from Juicy Couture that makes the collector inside of me go mad. The little miniature figures in valuable metal and gems just fit nicely together. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way, I have noticed other women on forums like purseblog sharing photographs of their own loved charms, and romancing over photos of charms that they would love to own.

I think there's something about the personalization that these Juicy Couture charms give. If you recall a few years ago, Italian charm bracelets were all the rage. Everyone had an Italian charm bracelet. You could collect various charms that said various things about you - a tiny Italian puppy charm told that you either owned a dog or were a kanine lover. Or perhaps you owned a golden "A" charm because your name was Andrea..

The charms and charm bracelets by Juicy Couture function in basically the same way. Little coffee charms reveal our love of Starbucks. Miniature crown charms display that (of course) you're a princess. There are just a lot of various charms to go over, literally 100s, that the combinations are infinite. Just fasten different charms to your Juicy charm bracelet.

Perhaps the reason Italian charm bracelets are not so great anymore is because this new era of charm bracelet has knocked them off to the side of the road. Don't get me wrong, I still to this day see women sporting these oldschool charm bracelets but as much as I did when they first came out. Back then, it was like everyone had one.

Charms become retired and some of them soar in popularity, commanding costs of one hundred to four hundred dollars. Yikes!
